Promotional Material

This was the third shirt of our 2016 t-shirt giveaway campaign. We let our customers choose the slogan for our final shirt. Inspired by the election year, they selected the above tagline.  Swifty is the name of the lure the greyhounds chase around the track during the races. I sought an antiqued look to the shirt which evoked vintage political campaign buttons.

The Kentucky Derby is a big deal at any greyhound or horse track. I wanted to do a t-shirt that highlighted the big race, but also promoted the track simultaneously. The color I chose is fun, bold and evokes the feeling of summer. The shirt was one of our most popular to date. 

"Here comes Swifty...and they're off!" is what the track’s announcer says when the greyhounds first start the race. Its frequent use has made it something of a catchphrase among patrons. In light of its popularity, I decided to use it on our first promotional t-shirt giveaway, which also included the track’s updated logo.

Click the above image to view the press release in its entirety. The press release was meant to promot Sanford Orlando Kennel Club's fall racing schedule, as well as promoting American Pharoah running in the Breeders' Cup stakes race.

These poker chips were a promotional giveaway granting holders free admission into our Clubhouse. I designed them to be a visually striking, somewhat edgy souvenir.  The chips also feature the track’s modernized logo.

The above VIP and Season Pass cards were printed with the look, feel and durability of plastic cards, and also reflected the updated branding of the company. I used the same color scheme and fonts as the printed brochure to provide a cohesive feel to the materials.
